Made for the whole print

From model to first layer.

WrenSlicer brings model preparation, practical print settings, part design, and printer connections into one app. Feature access depends on your device and plan; the app is still in development.

01 / PREPARE

Slice with useful control

Set layer height, walls, top and bottom layers, infill, temperatures, speed, brim and skirt. Choose from eight infill patterns and set supports, raft, ironing, fuzzy skin, bridges, multi-material tools, insert pauses, and layer-by-layer changes.

02 / WORK WITH MODELS

Arrange and repair

Open STL, 3MF, and STEP models. Move, rotate, duplicate, lay flat, split large parts, add alignment pins, or search for a pocket. The engine checks mesh integrity and reports repairs it can make.

03 / DESIGN

Make a part from a starting shape

Build editable parts from templates and feature dimensions. Trace a drawing or use a photo as a starting point. AI-assisted design is optional and requires an internet connection.

04 / CHECK

See what the print will do

Preview layers, inspect estimated time, filament use, and print thumbnails, check part strength and fit, and make fit, temperature, and retraction calibration parts. Split parts can include alignment pins and joint holes.

05 / MATERIALS

Choose for the job

Browse material guidance for common filaments in the offline advisor. Check printer and material compatibility before sending a job.

06 / PRINT

Send locally or save a file

Connect to supported printers on your local network, follow live printer status and camera feeds where available, or export G-code for a USB drive, SD card, or another workflow. Printer paths include Elegoo network printing, Bambu LAN mode, Moonraker, PrusaLink, and OctoPrint where supported by the device build.

07 / MAKE IT YOURS

Save and revisit your work

Keep projects in iCloud on Apple devices, share model links, use Shortcuts, and get help from built-in onboarding and troubleshooting. Apple builds also include a printer dashboard, iPad and Mac layouts, and print progress in Live Activities. Account and cross-device cloud features are still being completed.

08 / OPTIONAL AI

Get a design started

Photo-to-part and design help can turn a description or image into an editable starting point. AI is also used for optional design questions. Check every dimension and preview before printing; AI output can be wrong.

In development: WrenSlicer is not yet available for general release. Printer support and app features are still being verified across devices and real hardware.
